The following illustrates a random
draw of
abuse and affect/effect cards for the years of sixteen, seventeen, and
eighteen. Affect/Effect cards have been drawn from the white
strand and are reflective of the adolescent who internalizes her anger.
(See Early Childhood, Late Childhood, and Early Adolescence
for examples of a child who externalizes anger.)

where you will be living in four years. All possibilities include a
beautiful
house, a well paying job, and a handsome and caring husband. You are
also
thinking about getting your first real part-time job and have definite
plans
